Summer in Van Wert means one thing: the return of our beloved Feel Good Fridays at Fountain Park, right in the heart of the Historic Downtown District. As the warm evenings settle in, the park transforms into a lively stage for a series of free live concerts, showcasing an exciting variety of music—country, rock, jazz, bluegrass, Christian, and more. It’s a weekly celebration of community, music, and summertime fun that everyone looks forward to.
Every Friday, Fountain Park fills with about a thousand people from across the tri-state area, all eager to enjoy an evening of great music and good company. Friends arrive early, spreading out lawn chairs and blankets, knowing that the best spots are worth the wait. These concerts aren’t just about the music—they’re about creating memories, sharing laughs, and feeling the vibrant pulse of summer in Van Wert.
Here’s what’s coming up for the season: On June 6, the energetic band Barracuda kicks things off; June 13 features the soulful sounds of Britnee Kellogg; June 20 brings the Legendary Trainhoppers. Then, on June 27, we’re getting groovy with Let’s Get It On; July 4 features the Little Mermen celebrating Independence Day; July 11 welcomes Thurston Howell; July 18, Earth to Mars takes the stage. The fun continues with the Dave Matthews Tribute Band on July 25; Lightning Express on August 1; Boy Band Review on August 8; and wrapping up the season on August 14, Brothers of the Heart.
Each week is a new chance to gather with friends, enjoy fantastic live music, and soak in the summer vibes—making Fountain Park the place to be every Friday night.
